Maybe you got the wrong one ow… I only made the Distant Dreams medley today.

Glad you like the cover, that is a genuine pic with no fiddling about…I couldn’t believe it when I saw it.

Ah i didnt know it was a new version, didnt try it today.. will do though.. So the cloud is real not airbrushed? 8-)

Perhaps you should sell the cd in a 12" cover ;)

Or sell a poster of the cover... ;) ;)

The sort that is mixed with small stones, water, cement and iron reinforcing rods ;)

My neighbour just gave me a large mug of gluvine, which was very nice; trouble is, now I want another one… this could be the start of a good evening...

I still can't believe it!

You know i'm a fan of your photography and pics in general tim, but that photo (and i still am finding it difficult to believe....) is absolutely amazing if genuine. We've all looked at clouds and have seen things in the shapes, but that is...

I'm speechless. Go on admit it, a little editing perhaps? No? Blimey!

That pic just blew me away, if you'll pardon the pun. ;D

Great pic regardless. What a cd cover! I must check out your music soon also.

Thanks for the kind words TRM. I swear it is a genuine image; I don’t think I could have manipulated a cloud pic to look so perfect. The only thing I did to it was crop a little off both sides to fit the CD cover format.

For the first 25 customers, I’ve decided to also include a high quality gloss print of the picture:

Distant Dreams: A mini review

This CD brings me back. As a kid, I used to listen to early Tangerine Dreams albums and experimental Swedish artists, my inner space focused on those impossible worlds that the imagination creates when it becomes entranced with itself. Tim has made it possible for me to revisit those worlds with his latest CD.

Distant Dreams is in no rush to get anywhere soon, and it has a natural flow with no perceived structure to it and improvised elements move in and out of more obscure ambient lands far away from mainstray. It is best consumed in a darkened room, with nothing to distract you if possible. Safe with most medications. ;)

HI ML. Thanks very much for the review. The fact that you love the CD makes my day ;D You’ve captured the essence of what it’s all about and mainstray sounds like an absolutely perfect description to me.

Sadly, I misread the album title as "Distant Drums" and sat down to the trailer expecting to hear a frenzied tom-tom and reverb-soaked tribute to one of Gentleman Jim Reeves's finest moments.

Nevertheless once the initial surprise had worn off I had to confess that it sounded rather good.
